5 ways to keep the magic of santa alive

I'm not a HUGE Santa promoter, because that's just how I was raised. Still, the magic of holding onto the reality that Santa was real, is just something I will always remember. Let them be little, right?

SO, if you're a parent that just wants to keep that light in your child's eye this Christmas, here are a few simple ways to keep the Magic of Santa alive.

1. AFFORDABLE Scout Elf

I know a lot of people that don't have scout elves in their homes simply because they can get PRICEY. I've found you solutions, and if you have prime, they should get here FAST!

  • Set of Boy + Girl Scout Elves -$18.99 (2) FREE Shipping

Now, I know the reviews are pretty low, but I have this exact set and have been using them for a few years in my classroom. I've names mine Buddy + Snowflake. I know, I know, the girl should have been Jovie, BUT I WAS BLANKING IN THE MOMENT AND THE NAME SNOWFLAKE JUST CAME OUT OF MY MOUTH.

Ahem. Anywho, this was a great deal in my eyes and my students adore them.

  • Plush boy + girl elves -$12.99 (2) Free Shipping

A little bit cheaper, but they still look like magical creatures that come to life when you're not looking. If you tell your tiny kiddos that these two came from The North Pole, they're likely to believe you.

I mean, if you really sell the idea.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

If you DON'T have Prime, you can click HERE for a FREE 30-day trial.

(PSST, then you can cancel it later without paying a dime. I won't tell anyone)

2. FREE Certificates from Santa

These babies are 100% FREE, made by me! Once you access the files, you can edit them with your child's name a reasons why they've been put on the "Naughty" or "Nice" list.

You can print out as many as you like, because, let's be honest, you've probably threatened your kid with the naughty list more than you'd like to admit. No judgement here. I FEEL YOU.

3. Make your own wax seals

This REALLY sells the idea of the Santa Letter. I went ahead and grabbed these for myself. My nieces are gonna FLIP when they get their letters with an "OFFICIAL" seal from Santa's desk!

These are the cheapest I found,

because THAT'S HOW I ROLL.

4. POrtable North Pole App -Free + Paid

I mean, most of the time I just use the section of the app where you preview Santa saying the name of the child and that does the trick. I hook my phone up to a blue tooth speaker and VOILA, Santa's voice magically says your child's name to let them know HE'S ALWAYS WATCHING.

CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE APP AND CREATE YOUR MESSAGE

BUUUT you can also create a FREE video with photos and a few simple phrases. It's pretty magical, but you have to pay for more deets from Santa. 5% of all proceeds are donated to a worthy cause. CLICK HERE to find out more.

5. Find your local "santa"

I know, this is almost a total given, BUT there are always places that offer a free Santa photo.

You can visit Bass Pro Shops to get a guaranteed photo by grabbing a Bass Pass at the front door! These are TOTALLY FREE. The key is going earlier on a weekday, around lunch time. We were the only ones there! No wait at all!

  • You will be sent an email to view and purchase additional photos if you want.

  • + A voucher for a FREE kid's meal & discount on an adult meal

Merry Christmas!
