Original Toy Story Room
Andy's Toy Story room is one of my favorite rooms in the whole Pixar universe. It's just so colorful, fun and exciting! I've always loved the idea of making a Toy Story room in real life, but I never knew how expensive it would be to do it right. That is until recently when I discovered some awesome budget-friendly DIY projects that helped me realize that making your own version of Andy's Toy Story room isn't as hard or expensive as you might think!
It's a small room, but it is functional and fun. Andy's room has all the essentials: a bed, closet, dresser, and desk. There are also plenty of toys scattered around for him to play with—his favorites are his vintage ragdoll Woody and his Buzz Lightyear action figure.
I had no idea this beloved classic from my childhood would soon become an integral part of my son's as well.
He lives and breathes Toy Story.
You can make a Toy Story room on a budget!
So, you want to make a Toy Story room in real life? Great news! You can do it on a budget and make it easy.
Here are some tips on how to make a Toy Story room DIY:
Start with the basics, like changing the wall color or adding art. Remember that you're going for something that looks good but is also practical for everyday living.. Since this room will likely be front-and-center in your home (and potentially occupied by kids), you'll want it to fit into current trends while still appealing to your little one.
Then add some fun details depending on how big your budget is: throw pillows, framed art prints of your favorite characters and posters from when the original film came out in 1995. If there's enough space left over after decorating with these things then go ahead and add some toys from Hasbro or Mattel!
Toy Story Headboard
The Toy Story Headboard is a great piece of decor. It can easily hang by the removable velcro on the back! I found this gem while searching on Facebook market place. It was simply created out of thin wooden plank and stained! This seriously brought it all together for me.

Toy Soldier Wall Decals
These are also made with Cricut removable vinyl, and can be used anywhere you’d like to have them. The possibilities are endless! You could decorate the walls of an entire room, or just use them on one wall for an accent piece.
DIY Toy Story Wallpaper/Vinyl
Add a personal touch to your child's room with DIY Toy Story Wallpaper Vinyl. Using white removable Cricut vinyl and removable wallpaper, which is easy and affordable, to create a mural or wallpaper that can be customized to your child's room. The vinyl and removable wallpaper allows you to remove it when you move or if you need to redecorate in the future!
